See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Formerly a Bluebeckers Restaurant, this pub has a large river-side garden. Following a major fire in 2012 the pub was bought and renovated (as a free house) by Home Counties Pub Restaurants, sister group to Brunning and Price. Cask ales are seen by the management as an important offering and they serve four changing guest beers, mostly from LocAle breweries. There is an extensive dining area and the food is excellent with something for all tastes. The left-hand bar is more informal for drinkers and diners. This pub has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide in recent years. A board behind the bar displays information stating what beers are currently on, description/tasting notes and the distance between the brewery and the pub. Draught cider is also now available.
